Starting tomorrow, 26 October, Deployable Air Control Center, Recognized Air Picture Production Center, Sensor Fusion Post (DARS) will set out on a new and challenging deployment exercise: Ramstein Dust II-15 will see an operational relocation of DARS assets to Lielvārde for live mission controls of Allied aircraft. The exercise will end on 27 November 2015.

At 0915 a.m. on 21 October something big is in final approach for Beja military airport. A huge United States Air Force (USAF) C-17 is landing on the Portuguese base runway and slowly taxiing to a parking position. Here, the rear ramp opens and the beast spills its guts – several containers and then two USAF HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters are slowly being rolled out of the aircraft.

Media are invited to attend the opening ceremony of NATO’s large scale exercise Trident Juncture 2015 at the Italian Air Force Base at Trapani, Sicily, on 19 October 2015. The event will mark the official kick-off of Exercise Trident Juncture 2015, the Alliance’s most important exercise in 2015 taking place troughout Italy, Portugal, Spain, Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea involving 36.000 personnel from more than 30 Allied and Partner countries.
